Movable blocks are encountered in The Butterfly Effect, Four Different Exits, and Deja Vu. There are two kinds of Movable Blocks: free movement blocks and mechanism blocks.

Free Movement Blocks from Four Different Exits

Free Movement Blocks are presented by the shape of a cube with all the possible white lines joining the eight vertices.Free Movement Blocks can be pushed by The Character in any direction and re-positioned anywhere within boundaries. In the Four Different Exits puzzle, there are 2 free movement blocks of different size.

Mechanism blocks are presented by the shape of a cube with all the possible white lines joining the eight vertices. Unlike Free Movement Blocks, there are glass panes in each of the walls on the Mechanism Blocks, making the block semi-transparent.

Mechanism blocks can be pushed by The Character in one specific direction. Each mechanism block is distantly linked to an Elevator, such that when the Character changes the position of the mechanism block, the elevator will move corresponding to the position of the mechanism block.

  • When the Character pushes the mechanism block to the end, the elevator will reach the bottom.
  • When the Character releases the mechanism block in ways such that the block automatically returns back to the original position, the elevator will reach the top.
  • The returning of the mechanism blocks can be inhibited by either the character or Cubes.
